“Trinity. History Alive” in Zhavoronki town

On 10 September multimedia folk performance “Trinity. History Alive” was presented in Zhavoronki town as part of festivities to celebrate Town Day.

The project featured some of Russia’s best-known folk ensembles that won recognition from audiences: MRP’s State Ensemble of Soloists Russkiye Uzory, Moscow State Dance Ensemble “Russkiye Sezony”, and Sudakov Moscow State Choir.

“Trinity. History Alive” is an incredible multimedia journey into the depths of Russia’s history and culture introducing audiences to Russian customs and traditions. The fascinating story is backed up by legendary canvasses from the State Tretyakov Gallery and accompanied by music of celebrated Russian composers: Mussorgsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Stravinsky, and others. Classical pieces were specifically arranged to be performed by a folk orchestra.

The show that’s unequalled in the world premiered on 15 June 2016 at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior (Church Council Hall) and was presented throughout the summer. Now the show’s release expanded to include audiences in Moscow region.
