“High art in small towns of Moscow region” festival culminated in Taldom

On 9 September “High art in small towns of Moscow region” festival was brought to a close at Atlant sports centre of Taldom town. Tchaikovsky Symphony Choir led by People’s Artist of Russia Vladimir Fedoseyev presented recitals in three towns of Moscow region (Zaraisk, Protvino, and Taldom) as part of the festival organized by MRP with the support of Ministry for Culture of Moscow region.

Taldom audience was introduced to Polovtsian Dances from “Prince Igor” by Borodin, Symphonic Picture “Three Miracles” from “The Tale of Tsar Saltan” by Rimsky-Korsakov, and Symphonic Fantasy “Francesca da Rimini” by Tchaikovsky. Denis Lotoyev was conducting.

The recital was presented by winner of Russian National “Ovatsiya” Award and Moscow Government Award Pyotr Tataritsky.

First Deputy Culture Minister of Moscow region A. Murashov, Head of Taldom district of Moscow region V. Yudin, and Moscow Region Duma Deputy M. Shevchenko made welcome speeches.
