“Phenomenon of musician”: review of “Ave Maria” on Orpheus radio

Excerpt from the review of recital presented by Dmitry Korchak and MRP’s Choir on 19 September at Tchaikovsky Concert Hall: “MRP’s State Choir headed by artistic leader and chief choirmaster Nikolay Azarov opened "AVE MARIA" recital at Tchaikovsky Concert Hall with “The Symbol of Faith” (“Creed”) from Tchaikovsky’s Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom. Magnificent, extraordinarily fresh and vibrant tone, young, ringing voices, and pauses enthralling by total silence got the audience focused and immersed into the beauty of the sound. That was a sort of beginning, tuning into embracing the new, sophisticated program of sacred music written by European and Russian composers.”
