“Guslars of Russia” mark 75th anniversary of Battle of Moscow

On 9 November State orchestra “Guslars of Russia” presented a recital for veterans at Oktyabr community centre (Podolsk town). Part of “Young at Heart” project, the recital marked 75th anniversary of the Battle of Moscow and included well-known wartime songs, culminating in the celebrated march “The Slavic Woman’s Farewell”.

The event featured Honored Artist of Moscow region Ivan Zubarev (vocal); winner of national and international contests, winner of Russia’s National Heritage award Olga Alexeyeva (ringing gusli); and winner of national and international contests Tatiana Semushina (vocal).
