From 30 October to 7 November 2014 “The Russian Timbre” ensemble is making a tour of Swiss cities – Aarau, Zug, Yverdon-les-Bains etc. as part of the festival named “Virtuosos of Accordion Music”.

Regional Philharmonic comes up with brand new projects

An updated style, team, repertoire, and stars on the posters – that’s how the restored Moscow Regional Philharmonic kicks off its season. The season opener has already been a thrill. On 28 September at Tchaikovsky State Memorial Museum in Klin the premiere of Igor Raikhelson’s concert for piano and orchestra was performed by the world-class pianist Boris Berezovsky and Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic.

Ghindin introduced to Instrumental Capella

On 5 September 2014 the first meeting of Instrumental Capella with the new artistic director, Honored Artist of Russia, notable musician Alexander Ghindin took place at the rehearsal venue of Moscow Region Philharmonic.

Ghindin was introduced by CEO Ilgiz Yanbukhtin. The issues of development, the concept of repertoire policy and work agenda of the music ensemble have been the focus of discussion. The orchestra’s rehearsals will start in September.

Moscow Region Philharmonic opens new 2014-2015 concert season

New corporate look, new web-site, new repertoire, new celebrities in the calendar, and new team – that’s Moscow Region Philharmonic restored in 2013 after a 10-year break. The 2014-2015 concert season will have a comprehensive concert line-up, too. All the changes will be presented at the press conference for the opening of a new concert season on 28 September 2014.

Moscow Region Philharmonic headed by Ilgiz Yanbukhtin faces the challenge of creating a fully functioning music arts organization balancing classic, folk, and pop music and delivering an artistic product meeting the highest standards to audiences across the Moscow region.

Moscow region teachers’ meeting

On 28 August at the Grand Hall of the Provincial theatre the Moscow region teachers’ meeting took place. The meeting was conducted by Culture minister of the Moscow region Oleg Rozhnov. Headmasters of over 200 musical schools and colleges of the Moscow region participated in the meeting focused mainly on the problems of modern music education in Russia and ways of dealing with them.
