Olga Kormukhina

Ms. Kormukhina made her debut in spring 1980 at the Russian jazz festival Spring in Nizhny Novgorod, where she received Grand Prix in Best solo voice section.

In 1987 graduated with distinction from Gnessin Academy and declining plenty of collaboration offers opted for Chris Kelmi's Rock atelier band. In 1988 joined hard rock Red Panther band. In 1989, after the band had split up, embarked on a solo career. In1991 started Gella band, touring across Russia, with the first album Beyond words released the same year. At the beginning of the 90-s made her debut as actress in Sabitov's film Step to the right... Step to the left. In 1992 won Ovation award as best rock singer of the previous year.

Recorded sound tracks for Russian and American films Red Serpent (2001) and Mirror Wars. Reflection I (2005) with Alexei Belov.

In autumn 2007 entered the Russian State Institute of Cinematography and in summer came up with her first work as film director Shines and warms set on Zalit island starring Evdokiya Germanova. In 2009 presented her degree work Bell featuring Larisa Guzeyeva and Ivan Ohlobystin.

In 2010 presented a concert made up of world hits at the Winter Olympics in Vancouver and performed the hymn for the upcoming Sochi 2014 games.

Participates in charity events. On 2 September presented a charity concert with Alexei Belov at Pskov Region Philharmonic, directing the funds to provide for the school on Zalit island. Organizes Ostrov.ru festival held annually in Naro-Fominsk district of Moscow region.

On 22 March 2011 premiered officially her work as director, a new video for the piece "Wait", which is part of the "Man and Woman" trilogy.
On 29 February 2012 released her album "Falling Into the Sky" made up of 18 tracks written by Alexei Belov, Evgeny Kobylyansky, Sergey Savateyev, Grigory Bezugly, Margarita Pushkina, and Viktor Tsoi. In April 2012 presented the program at Gorky Theatre.
In 2013 became winner of TV contest Two Stars on Channel One.

Ms. Kormukhina and Gorky Park band led by Mr. Belov participated at the closing ceremony of the 22nd Olympics 2014 in Sochi, performing English-Russian version of the song Moscow Calling tailor-made for the event.

On 5 June 2014 MIHM hosted the premiere of Kormukhina's recital The BEST featuring Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic. A year after the singer presented another recital, The Territory of Love, at Crocus City Hall.

Since 2015 has been MRP's soloist.
