Growing up with music

Moscow Region Philharmonic arranges “Growing up with music”, an interactive music show designed to educate schoolchildren.  The new program features a unique synthesis of music, circus, and ballet, fascinating stories, contests and gifts for youngsters.

Thrilling stories about the mysteries of music, composers, and instruments will be narrated by Honored Artist of Russia Ms. Violet, soloist of Moscow Virtuosos Orchestra and presenter of music shows on Svetlana Stepchenko’s Radost Moya TV Channel.

Like a fairy godmother, the charming and eccentric presenter will create a vibrant festivity. Her stories will be accompanied by original videos tailor-made for the project.

Along with her companion Wolfie (artist of Moscow Puppet Theatre Yuri Sokirkin) Ms. Violet will encourage kids to sing songs from well-loved animation, try out musical instruments and conduct to let them experience what it’s like to be a musician.

The heiress to a renowned dynasty and professional ballet dance Elizaveta Taranda will present popular classical ballet pieces: “Russian Dance” and “The Dying Swan”. Alyona Slivka will perform a circus piece accompanied by soundtrack from “The Mask”. Chamber orchestra Instrumental Capella will play opera arias and jazz compositions. The program will feature young virtuosos, holders of Spivakov Foundation scholarships.

The show made up of music, circus, and ballet will take the audience on an entertaining journey into these arts, answer the trickiest questions of the curious, and introduce youngsters to classical music in an engaging way.
