Remembrance Watch 2015

On 22 June 2015 an event titled "Remembrance Watch" was held in many cities across Russia, marking the Remembrance and Mourning Day, the day when the Great Patriotic War broke out. It's observed to remember those who went through the war heroically, defending the native land on the front line, those who sacrificed their lives in the name of peace. It's a tribute paid to the veterans for the Victory gained 70 years ago.

As part of "Remembrance Watch" Central Academic Theatre of the Russian Army hosted a concert by State ensemble of Russian music and dance "Sadko" – an ensemble of Moscow Region Philharmonic.

The spectators joined in, singing along with the artists the heartrending wartime songs that brought tears to eyes, "A Letter from the 45th", "Fellow Soldiers", "Cranes", "People Remember" etc.

Vivacious and lyric choreographic compositions, "Moscow Suburb Dance", "Cossack Dance", and "Accidental Waltz" were performed.
Vocal and dance program was accompanied by instrumental pieces, "Tale of the Russian Land", Fantasy based on the romance "In the Moonlight", and a Medley of wartime songs.
