Award Winners of “Nutcracker” in Chernogolovka

On 5 April Moscow Region Philharmonic presented a concert as part of the project "Nutcracker. Award Winners" in Chernogolovka, at the local House of Scientists. The brightest students of the local arts school named after professor Makurenkova performed alongside award winners of International TV Contest for Young Musicians "Nutcracker".

"Nutcracker. Award Winners" is a one-of-a-kind chance for young artists to gain valuable stage experience. The project has been started by soloist of Moscow Region Philharmonic, artistic director of chamber orchestra "Instrumental Capella", pianist, Honored Artist of Russia Alexander Ghindin.

The local arts school was presented by its five pupils: Darya Maslova (10 years old, piano), Lilith Oganyan (10 years old, flute), Alexandra Drakina (12 years old, piano), Yekaterina Borodina (12 years old, xylophone), and the youngest of participants Valery Kuznetsov (7 years old, violin).

Award winners of the "Nutcracker" contest joined in: Anastasiya Maksyuta (2nd award, piano), Valentin Kovalyov (2nd award, saxophone), and Polina Senatulova (1st award, violin).

The concert has been a roaring success. The artistry of young virtuosos fascinated the audience that kept on applauding.
Moscow Region Philharmonic thanks Director of House of Scientists Pylayeva Elena and Director of the local schools of arts Agroskina Olga for amazing reception, active collaboration, and support.
