Centre for Ethnic Music Development at Opening of 6th Russian-Norwegian Culture Forum

On 16 September 2015 at the Norwegian county Finnmark (Kirkenes town) the 6th Russian-Norwegian Culture Forum was opened. Centre for Ethnic Music Development, part of Moscow Region Philharmonic, presented its one-of-a-kind program "Crossing Time" at the event. A brilliant performance of original musical pieces and a new work inspired by Norwegian ethnic music was given by the leaders of the centre Mikhail and Andrey Ivanov and soloists Polina Orbakh (vocals), Denis Shvytov (saxophone), and Dmitry Vlasenko (percussions). At the end of the concert the ensemble was invited to present a solo concert at The Samovar theatre in Norway next year.
