MRP and Orpheus theatre presented a premiere in Balashikha

On 18 February Moscow Region Philharmonic and Orpheus theatre for young spectators premiered their first collaboration in Balashikha, an interactive musical and educational performance Musical Woods, or the Tale of How Ivanushka Was Rescuing His Bride.

Along with Russkiye Uzory orchestra and actress Anastasiya Zykova young spectators embarked on a journey inspired by Russian folk fairy-tales, getting acquainted with various musical instruments: zhaleyka, gusli, harmonica, svirel, balalaika etc. The story of brave Ivanushka and his bride Mashenka was accompanied by vibrant choreographic pieces performed by the artists of Orpheus theatre.
