Children’s Region Philharmonic

Children’s Region Philharmonic

In September 2016, with the beginning of a new academic year, philharmonic events for children will be presented at children's art schools across the Moscow region. The project will be featuring prominent multi-genre musicians and artists. "Children’s Region Philharmonic" kicks off in Klin town and will be held throughout the year from September 2016 to May 2017.

The project is a follow-up to MRP's "The Nutcracker" held in 2014-2015. Gifted music students from towns across the Moscow region (Fryazino, Serpukhov, Pavlovsky Posad, Korolyov, Krasnogorsk, Yegoryevsk, Krasnoarmeysk, Chernogolvka) were sharing the stage with award winners of international TV contest for young musicians "The Nutcracker".

The project is spearheaded by People's Artist of Russia, MRP's artistic director, Russia's Honored Man of Arts Maxim Dunayevsky.
