Revival of Moscow Region Philharmonic

Please join us at “The Revival of Moscow Region Philharmonic” press conference to be held on 25 September 2014 at 2.30 p.m. at the President Hall of “Russia Today” Press Centre (RIA-NOVOSTI).

Press conference participants: Culture Minister of Moscow Region Oleg Rozhnov; Director of Moscow Region Philharmonic Ilgiz Yanbukhtin; Chief Choirmaster of A. Kozhevnikov Choir Nikolai Azarov;
Honored Artist of Russia, Soloist of Moscow Regional Philharmonic, pianist Alexander Ghindin; and People’s Artist of Russia, composer Maxim Dunayevsky.

Moscow Region Philharmonic’s new season will open September 28 at 5 p.m. at the State P.I. Tchaikovsky Memorial Museum in Klin. In the concert program named “MUSIC HOLIDAY” Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic will present the Russian premiere of composer Igor Reichelson’s concert for piano and orchestra performed by world-class pianist Boris Berezovsky, to whom the work is dedicated.

The concert will also include works by George Gershwin “Rhapsody in Blue” and “An American in Paris” and “Sado” symphonic poem by Tolib-khon Shakhidi. For the first time Moscow City Symphony – Russian Philharmonic will be performing under the baton of Hobart Earle (USA).
