Russian Minstrels’ Dance at Music Culture Museum

On 17 December at 7 pm “Russkiye Uzory” ensemble presented “Russian Minstrels’ Dance” at the Central Museum of Music Culture (Prokofiev Hall). The orchestra is led by Vladimir Zozulya and conducted by Oleg Tarasov. The recital was part of Collaboration agreement between MRP and Russian Museum Association of Music Culture named after Glinka.

The performance featured some world’s masterpieces, as well as works tailor-made for “Russkiye Uzory”. The ensemble performed Khachaturyan’s “Sabre Dance’, Tchaikovsky’s “Dance of Tumblers”, Shirokov’s “Joyful Passage”, Tsygankov’s “Russian Mosaic”, and other pieces.
